Needed to past my driving test quickly as my work needed me to drive, so i booked 5 2hr lessons with Steven and i passed by the end of the month. UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE... would recommend to anyone. if u cannot drive or feel u need someone just to get you on the road as quick as possible, Stevens your MAN!!

I have had 3 driving instructors before Steven and I never believed I could progress with them but I progressed more than I ever thought with Steven. When you are in the car he is friendly and welcoming while at the same time ensuring he gets the quality of driving that's necessary. He wouldn't get angry or frustrated with you, he'd patiently instruct you clearly until you achieve, taking the time to do what's needed over and over again until you can do it. He greatly notices differences in how people learn and works on what would work best for different people. Another great quality I loved is his flexibility with days and times you wanted lessons and he would gladly take the time to chat with you over phone or e-mail if you had any queries. All in all, don't believe that companies like AA are better because they're more priced, my instructor I had before Steven was AA and he was almost the complete opposite to what I've just praised and I know for a fact I wouldn't have achieved what I have if it wasn't for Steven Will recommend you to people wanting to learn to drive Cheers again Steven Jack Bartholomew

When looking for a driving instructor, I was recommended to call Steven. I truly believe Steven is the best instructor out there and after passing first time I would not hesitate to recommend him to all my friends. Steven always keeps calm and puts you at ease so you never feel stressed in difficult situations. The lessons are fun and highly productive. Stevens diagrams and explanations are extremely helpful. With only 36 hours of driving practice, I was very confident and Steven made sure I was thoroughly prepared before the test, which I passed 1st time. In the last few lessons , Steven made sure that I could do all the maneuvers well and he would be able to tell me how to improve them if I did a slight mistake. He will go over a couple Show & Tell questions after each lesson so you can look over them before the next lesson. Steven has made me a very good driver for the years to come because he is a fantastic instructor, positive and fun

I passed my driving test first time the other day which was such a relief. All of the confidence and driving skills I took into my practical test where thanks to Steven Davies. It feels like your being taught by your mate not by a teacher, which is great in helping you to relax when you have someone who is calm and trusts in your ability not someone who scrutinises your every move like my previouis instructor. The whole thing was a great experience and I am truly glad I did my lessons with Steve. Highly recommended.

I was referred to Steven by my cousin, who passed first time. Today I passed, first time. It is without a doubt due to Steven's incredible professional and flexible style; he is easy going yet careful to pick up on any slack, he knows all the test routes so a mock test with him really prepares you well. He has an automated texting system so for forgetful students (like me), you get a text reminder two days before detailing when you are meant to be out of bed. A patient teacher with a sense of humour makes me almost regret succeeding first time; perhaps I will learn pass plus to get those banter filled hours once more! When I first thought about learning to drive, a work colleague recommended Steven Davies, as her son had had lessons with him and passed his test in no time. I am really glad I accepted her advice. Steven is indeed a well-qualified driving instructor who does know what he's talking about. He's very professional yet friendly and caring. It helps a great deal when you feel you have got a friend on the passenger seat, rather than someone who is there just to teach you. And the teaching doesn't leave anything to be desired! I passed my test on the first attempt and, thanks to Steven Davies, I am ready to be more independent now. I shall be recommending him myself from now on!

Myself and my brother have used Steven first time. My brother, who is a year older than me used Steven first. Before he knew it, he had already passed his theory exam and a couple of months later he successfully passed his practical test. With myself, I also used Steven for the first time, with no other previous experience. I found Steven very helpful and he managed to teach me everything I needed to know. Although my practical exam got postponed due to weather conditions, I took a few more practice lessons and passed my test on the 21st Jan. I conclude that I do recommend Steven to anyone who is thinking about learning to drive. Steven really helped me to learn how to drive, he was my second driving instructor after I failed my first test. I realised if I had been with Steven as my first instructor I would have saved a lot of money and time. Steven is a great driving instructor! He is extremely patient with you and doesn't give up. Before doing a manourvre, he offers to show you and take you step by step which really helps to understand it. Steven works with you in a really friendly and relaxed enviroment which makes you feel safe and he knew when I was ready to take my test so I was able to pass first time. Thank you Steven!! P.S. Even though I have only had lessons with Steven, it must be said that he is one of the best instructors out there. During the lesson you are always having fun and learning simultaneously. He never gives up on you and is always happy to take you out. If you are looking to learn in an enjoyable and fast environment, Steven is your man! "I had a fantastic experience learning to drive with Steven from 001 Driving Academy. I started my driving lessons with Steven in July 2009 having never driven a car before. I passed my test first time on my birthday, 2nd November. I was already very impressed with Steven's quick reply to my driving lessons' enquiry. I made few on-line enquiries and he was the only one who responded! The other instructors didn't seem to be bothered! Steven is an excellent instructor. He teaches you in a relaxed, friendly and calm enviroment. I really enjoyed my lessons with Steven and always looked forward to the next one. He helped me to build up my confidence and believed in me. He had made absolutely sure that I was ready for my driving test before booking it. I also took the Pass Plus Course with Steven which I found very helpful. It had helped me to have a better understanding of the different situations that I as a driver could be confronted with.
